Zainab Jamil On the Disturbing Behavior of Her Ex-Husband & His First Wife

Zainab Jamil is a former model and television actress from Pakistan. Her first job was as a host on Aftab Iqbal’s program Khabanak. Zainab made the transition to acting, and some of her well-known dramas include Khwab Saraey, Susraal Meri Behan ka, Lamhay, Meri Rani, and Aap ki Kaneez. Alongside Hamza Ali Abbasi, she also acted in Jawani Phir Nahi Aani. Zainab Jamil gained notoriety recently when her husband in Lahore attempted to murder her.

During her appearance on Suno Digital’s podcast, the actress discussed her abusive marriage and her ex-husband’s cruel behavior.

“It was a love marriage; I knew my ex-husband and he was quite serious about me,” Zainab remarked, speaking about meeting her ex-husband. He was very insistent on getting married to me and pressuring me into it. He desired for me to give up my career in order to wed him. I met him in Lahore, but as soon as I moved to Karachi, he began pressuring me to get married. I was unable to look into him further and fell into his trap, especially when he told me to quit my job and stay at home because I didn’t need to work. In just two years, he had me totally under his trance. My family didn’t think I should marry him, even though I did. Here’s the link to the video:

The woman went on to describe her husband’s possessiveness, saying, “I had to film a scene with the leading actor while on my OST shoot, and every time I started that particular scene with him, he would cry. The director, Abdullah Badini, also noticed this and warned me, saying, ‘Zainab, you are badly trapped by him.'”

Speaking about her husband’s actions, she said, “I once promised him that I wouldn’t wear jeans, so I agreed to give him all of my jeans. I asked him for money then, which I expected him to give me, but he wouldn’t give it to me. That was fine with me as well. Then, unable to pay for my daughter’s education, he pushed me to make his first wife my business partner and enroll my daughter in an ordinary school with a low tuition.

She added that her husband’s ex-wife had welcomed her right away and had planned to use her influence over her ex to ruin their marriage. According to Zainab, the ex-wife’s acceptance of her was a sly ploy to put obstacles in her path going forward.

According to Zainab, “His first wife moved in with us because she wanted equal rights; she came in, looked at me, and immediately began to play games with me.” She began controlling my husband, came into my home to learn about my character and then used it against me. Instead of standing up for me, she accepted me and helped to ruin our marriage because we could talk and I could easily back out. I restarted my social media and told him about his taunting of me about my expenses.
