Actor Babrik Shah gave up performing in movies following the collapse of the business. He is among the group of people who worked on the final blockbusters in Pakistani cinema history. Since then, he has made numerous speeches about revitalizing the film industry, but little actual action has been taken. He discussed his life, career, and problems with the Pakistani film industry on the GNN Studios Podcast.
Babrik talked about his chance to visit India and the reasons he chose not to live there. He disclosed that he visited the country in 2006 on business and received an invitation to settle there from Indians, but he simply cannot picture himself there. He declared that he could not live in India because it is a filthy country. Although he has nothing against India, he chose not to live there due to poor food, unclean conditions, and mob attacks.

He claimed that Mahira worked there because, in general, artists believe that having collaborated with a well-known Indian celebrity will elevate their caliber. If not, India has only contacted our artists when they lacked such talent.
