Pakistani mountain climbers have a long history of reaching new heights and overcoming difficult circumstances to set records. That being said, there aren’t always happy endings when scaling such hazardous peaks. Not too long ago, Pakistan lost its star mountaineer, Ali Sadpara, and now the country is facing more heartbreaking news. Another mountaineer, Murad Sadpara, passed away from wounds sustained while climbing Broad Peak.
Renowned climber Murad Sadpara suffered an injury a few days ago while attempting to summit Broad Peak. His head was struck, seriously injuring him. The situation was impeding the rescue effort, despite numerous fellow mountaineers pleading for help to reach Murad.
