How Would Hassan Ahmed Feel If Children Became Christians
Hassan Ahmed and Sunita Marhall are a lovely interfaith couple. Their children grew up to become Muslims, and they have always been transparent about how they negotiated the faiths for their offspring. As parents to two children, they instill in their children the values of respect for all world religions, tolerance, and unity.
The couple discussed raising children in a multifaith home when they were guests on Masarrat Misbah’s show. According to Hassan, the majority of us practice the religion we were born into. We don’t research it or attempt to determine what is right and wrong. According to him, it is not a good thing to follow something just because your ancestors did it. It is best that you educate yourself before making a choice.

He also discussed his response in the event that his children choose to become Christians. He claimed that although he would never think that way, he would talk to the child in such a situation, help them to reason, and ask for their explanations and justifications. He’ll ask why they’d want to practice a different religion and won’t go around breathing fire. He went on to say that his daughter is extremely sensible and that she always keeps these things in mind.

He also revealed that he was the same Muslim who we see every day in this society, one who has a history of violence. Although he continues to emphasize the significance of Islam, it is likely that Allah allowed him to marry a woman of a different faith in order to rid himself of the hostility and intolerance that had been inside of him.
