Refusing To Work with Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar, Saba Qamar
Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar is a talented drama and film writer, poet, and producer from Pakistan. His drama series Gentleman has been receiving positive reviews lately. Among his other well-known dramas are Dil Lagi, Bunty I Love You, Landa Bazar, Boota From Toba Tek Singh, Mere Paas Tum Ho, and Sadqay Tumhare. The lead writer is also an excellent public speaker. He frequently participates in talkshows and interviews. He currently appears as a guest speaker on Samaa TV’s Mukalma program.
Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar recently appeared on Hafiz Ahmed’s podcast, where he explained why he chose not to collaborate with renowned Pakistani actress Saba Qamar, with whom he had previously collaborated on the Hum TV drama series Bunty I Love You.
“I will never cast Saba Qamar again in any of my dramas,” Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar declared in response to the incident. Although she is a fantastic actress and I enjoy her work, I don’t think I will ever work with her because of the kind of clothes she wears, which goes against our cultural norms and standards. She gave a fantastic performance in my drama serial Bunty I Love You.
