When The Caller Questioned Sarfaraz’s English, Javeria Saud Gave a Lecture
Express TV is hosting a Ramadan broadcast this year, hosted by Javeria Saud. She has been inviting well-known figures in the entertainment, acting, and sports industries. During her show, Sarfaraz Ahmed, the former captain of the Pakistan Cricket Team, talked about his religious beliefs, being disqualified from sports, and dealing with criticism.
Additionally, fans call the show. During the live show, a man called and inquired about Sarfaraz Ahmed’s proficiency in the English language. He inquired as to whether he has seen the cricket player become agitated when required to speak in English and whether he finds it more challenging than the actual game.
Answering the question, Javeria Saud stated that she has never witnessed foreigners humiliate others for not knowing English. They are proud of the language they speak. Therefore, using English when speaking is not a sign of excellence or superiority. Even though we are not fluent in Urdu, we should be proud of our ability to speak it.
