Right now, the terrible Pahalgam incident is trending on social media. Unidentified gunmen shot a group of tourists in Srinagar, in Indian-occupied Kashmir, on April 22, 2025. A businessman on vacation and a groom on his honeymoon were among the 26 people killed in the attack. Numerous other people suffered injuries, many of which were listed as critically ill.

Celebrities from Pakistan have expressed their sorrow over the tragic event, including Farhan Saeed, Hania Aamir, Mawra Hocane, and others. Indians, on the other hand, are accusing Pakistan of carrying out the attack. In retaliation, they are demanding the termination of treaties with Pakistan and the prohibition of Pakistani actors, particularly Fawad Khan, whose movie Abir Gulaal is about to be released in India.

A video featuring hateful remarks from extremist Indians directed at Pakistani actors was uploaded by Zoom, a popular Indian entertainment news portal and YouTube channel. The Indians are calling for a ban on Fawad Khan, the video claims. “After this, Abir Gulaal will not be permitted to be released in India in any case,” an Indian user wrote. “Are we going to release Abir Gulaal after the Pahalgam incident, will we still make such films with Pakistani actors?” another person asked.
