Yashal Shahid is a well-known playback singer from Pakistan who has performed on several popular original soundtracks for popular dramas in his home country. Sajna, Aye Musht e Khaak, Hum Kahan ke Sachay Thay, Mere Humsafar, Noor Jahan, Meri Tanhai, Samjhota, and other well-known OSTs are among her repertoire. Yashal’s live performances at the concerts are another reason for her admiration.
Yashal Shahid recently performed at the 20th anniversary of Hum TV. She sang the OST to Humsafar, which was first performed by the gifted Qurat ul Ain Baloch. Although Yashal Shahid did a beautiful job singing the OST to Humsafar, her performance was not well received by fans. Fans were unimpressed by Yashal Shahid’s rendition of Humsafar because they believe that he was unable to replicate the soulful voice of Qurat ul Ain Balouch in terms of texture and tempo. Numerous people claimed that Qurat-ul-Ain Balouch’s rendition of this song was so flawless that no other vocalist could ever match it. The channel’s failure to invite her to the event was also criticized by fans. She was also tagged in the post by QB’s fans.
