He stated, “When I got married, it was totally a different scenario,” in reference to the decision to get married. We made a snap decision because of COVID, which made everyone believe that the end of the world was imminent. I made the decision early because I also believed that the individual should be in line with my ethics, values, and preferences. We went for it because Nikah is the best relationship there is.
He went on to say, “As a boy who is comfortable with household chores, it was never difficult for me to make that choice. In my opinion, a relationship is only about one person’s efforts; the other person should show that they support you. I believe that people begin to take their spouses for granted, which is why marriages fail.
Speaking about divorce, he stated, “Many people are aware that we are divorced now because I discussed it in Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast. Our divorce was finalized more than a year and a half ago. Since the other person is no longer here and no longer involved in my life, I don’t want to discuss it much. Every story is unique, in my opinion. This was its destiny.
