Shagufta’s husband had been critically ill and bedridden for some time, so she and her family were going through a lot. His treatment was continuing at Agha Khan Hospital in Karachi, but his condition was getting worse. Yahya Siddiqui was in the hospital when the couple recently celebrated their wedding anniversary; sadly, he passed away.
