In response, Zahid Ahmed stated, “I just did my job as an actor. I don’t love that character, and I don’t even hate that character.” It’s sufficient for me that Humayun Saeed Bhai personally contacted me and instructed me to play this character. It was a pleasure working with Humayun Saeed, Yumna, Adnan Siddiqui, and Sohai, so it was great; you just do your job when you sign it. I was up for it because I had never had the opportunity to work with him. And when I realized that I was portraying this poisonous, conceited, avaricious, spiteful, and jealous character, all I wanted to do was play the part because you signed it, so do your job, man.
