Zoya Nasir is a talented Pakistani actress who rose to prominence with Junaid Khan in the hit drama series Hania. Among her other well-known dramas are Badzaat, Zebaish, Deewangi, Mere Humsafar, and others. For her two hugely successful dramas, Kaffara and Noor Jahan, Zoya Nasir is currently getting praise. She’s getting a lot of praise from the public and critics for her portrayal of Maha in Noor Jehan.
Recently, Zoya Nasir appeared on the Rabia Mughni-hosted YouTube program for Fuchsia Magazine. She described the character dynamics of Maha in the recently popular drama Noor Jahan in the show.
Zoya Nasir stated, “I had to do this drama because of the script as it was by the brilliant Zanjabeel Asim Shah,” when discussing her decision to use the Noor Jahan script. In addition, Six Sigma was the production company and Musadik Malik was the director, so! I was forced to do this, and thanks to Zanjabeel’s writing, which supports every track, I knew it would go well.
Zoya Nasir stated, “We worked a lot on Maha,” in reference to the character. Since I was also playing the hyperactive character of Nimmi at the time, Musadik advised me on how to play her. Nimmi was consequently passing Maha. I should speak to Maha in a very relaxed and informal manner, as though she doesn’t care about anything, Musadik advised me. Furthermore, Maha doesn’t care about anyone but herself; she didn’t feel anything for Safeer and only visited Noor Jahan’s home to take care of her child. She’s just attempting to determine which circus she’s been in.
Zoya Nasir discussed the feedback, saying, “I knew that the comments would change and go in Maha’s favor because of the story. People are rooting for Maha, and fans said that they didn’t know they would be rooting for Maha’s character.” I’m getting excellent feedback so far.
When discussing her connection to the character Maha, Zoya Nasir stated, “I relate to her practicality, but I don’t agree with her returning to Noor Jahan’s house or getting involved in Safeer’s life to obtain a divorce from the first wife. Zoya would never do that.”
